GRATITUDE.
Gratitude sometimes look like it changes nothing around you—yet it changes everything within you.
Gratitude is more than saying “thank you”; it is a posture of the heart. In seasons of abundance, it keeps us humble. In seasons of lack, it keeps us anchored. Gratitude trains the soul to recognize God’s hand even when life feels ordinary or difficult.
When we choose gratitude, we shift our focus from what is missing to what is present. We begin to see grace in small things—breath in our lungs, strength to rise, peace that surpasses understanding.
Gratitude does not deny pain; it simply refuses to let pain have the final word. It is an act of trust. It says, God, I may not understand everything, but I acknowledge Your faithfulness. And often, thanksgiving becomes the doorway through which joy returns.
Pause today and name three things you’re thankful for. Speak them out loud. Gratitude grows when it is expressed.
